Terms and Conditions
Contracting Services and Deposit Requirements:
A non-refundable deposit of $1500.00 is required to reserve our catering services for weddings and large functions and to hold the date for the event. 50% of the estimated total is due when the menu is created with final payment due 3 weeks prior to the event.
Payments:
Visa, Master Card, Cash, Personal and Business checks accepted. All Credit Card charges will incur an additional 3% surcharge to the client per transaction.
Final Guest Count:
Your final guest count is required 3 weeks prior to the event. A minimum guarantee guest count may required. After the 3 weeks, we will be unable to decrease the guest count and would do our best to accommodate any increases.
Vendor Meals:
We charge for vendor meals at a rate of 50% off the menu price and need that count three weeks prior when the final guest count is due.
Extra Time:
If the event lasts longer than the original contracted amount, you will be billed additional labor charges.
Staffing Charges:
Includes full-service, setup and clean up of all food areas and dishes. Upon selection of the menu, number of guests, and approximate hours of function, we will be happy to estimate labor costs. Chef: $25.00 per hour
Server: $20.00 per hour (minimum of four hours)
Bartender: $25.00 per hour
Event Manager: $30.00 per hour (may be required by Eat Your Heart Out Catering based on the nature and size of your event.)
Tax and Service Charges:
All food and labor charges are subject to an 18% business and operations charge. This fee includes but is not limited to trash removal and cleanup, vehicle expenses, kitchen prep time, administrative fees. This fee is not a service gratuity and is not paid to the service staff working your event. Gratuities are optional but are greatly appreciated and will be paid directly to the staff working your event. Massachusetts state law requires a 5% sales tax on these charges. Tax exempt groups must provide a copy of valid state sales tax exempt certificate upon signing of the catering contract.
Left Overs/ Outside Food Items:
Eat Your Heart Out Catering is not subject to packing or providing leftovers regardless of guest attendance or over service by Eat Your Heart Out Catering. Eat Your Heart Out Catering will not serve or take responsibility for food items not prepared or supplied by Eat Your Heart Out Catering. At no time will Eat Your Heart Out Catering allow food prepared from a private home to be served at a catered event. This is a serious food safety requirement of the Board of Health.
Delivery Charge:
Drop off on High Quality Disposables-$ 40.00
Full setup-and pickup- $80.00
Rentals:
When contracting services with Eat Your Heart Out Catering, any and all rental items necessary for the execution of your event shall be the financial responsibility of the client and are in addition to the food and labor charges with Eat Your Heart Out Catering. We are happy to refer our clients to our preferred rental vendors who can assist you with your rental needs. Eat Your Heart Out Catering may require certain rentals in order to execute your event and these charges will be incurred by the Client. (Trays, tray stands, chafing dishes, etc.) We would be happy to discuss our rental needs with you once the menu is created. We ask that our Clients provide the rental companies with a credit card on file and all payments for rentals will be made directly to the rental vendor. All final rental orders must on record with Eat Your Heart Out Catering within three weeks of your event.

Cancellation Policy:
Deposit will not be refunded due to cancellation and all remaining payments made to date of cancellation are non-refundable.
